Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Unwanted boats in Halley near the White River tend to be more complicated to remove than expected. Specialized cranes or barges may be required. Our team takes down the mast, removes the boat’s equipment and electronics, and cuts off the flybridge if needed. Since most landfills can’t take larger boats as they are, they need to be crushed or dismantled first. Don’t worry - our team takes care of that for you, making the whole process simple and stress-free. Relax - we’ve got it handled.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boats left to deteriorate along the edges of Merrisach Lake and in low lying sloughs near the Mississippi River floodplain are among the most common removal calls crews handle here. Owners sometimes abandon vessels after flooding makes retrieval difficult, leaving hulls partially submerged or stuck in mud. Salvage work at these sites often requires pump out equipment and careful rigging before a haul is possible.
Storage related removals are equally frequent in Halley, where aging jon boats and flat bottom fishing skiffs sit forgotten on private property for years. Estates near the Desha County Road 24 corridor regularly call for dismantling and eco conscious disposal after a property changes hands. Lake Enterprise draws anglers every season, and derelict boats left at informal launch spots there are a recurring job for our removal teams.
