Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
The reality is that boat removal along the Alhambra Creek corridor is often much tougher than it seems for Alhambra Valley area residents. Some older vessels often contain asbestos insulation. Our Teams take off the masts, clear out the boat’s gear and electronics and cut off the flybridge if needed. Larger boats usually need to be crushed or demolished before a landfill will take them - and our team takes care of that process. You just sit back - AAA Rousse takes care of the rest.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boats left sitting along Alhambra Creek or anchored near the edge of Briones Reservoir are among the most common removal calls we receive in this area. Owners often let vessels deteriorate after seasons of infrequent use, and rising water levels or slipping anchors can leave a hull partially submerged. Recovery from those spots requires specialized rigging and an experienced crew familiar with the tight terrain of the Carquinez Strait corridor.
A natural follow on scenario involves boats stored on private acreage off Reliez Valley Road or in the rural lots of Franklin Canyon that have simply outlived their usefulness. When an estate settles or a property sells, a forgotten sailboat or pontoon can become a liability overnight. Our team coordinates haul out logistics from those inland sites and handles paperwork for title surrender, working with Martinez Marina as a staging point when a water side transfer is the most practical route.
