Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Removing an old or damaged boat in Seeley requires more than an unskilled workforce. It requires professionals. Boats taking up space in yards or parking lots near Wiest Lake are difficult to move without damage. Crews use proper trailers and equipment to remove them efficiently. Local restrictions, complicated towing, and strict disposal procedures can hold up the process.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
In Seeley, boat removal for older vessels in the Imperial Valley usually isn't quick or easy. Boats left in backyards can be hard to extract without damaging property. The AAA Rousse crew will take down the mast, clear off the gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if we have to, to get the job done. Bigger boats usually need a little extra work, like crushing or demolition, before a landfill will accept them. We handle all of that on your behalf, so you can relax knowing everything’s being done the right way. We do the hard work and you enjoy the ease.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal around the Salton Sea is one of the most common calls we receive in this area. Vessels left partially submerged or beached along its eroding shoreline require specialized equipment and permits. We also respond regularly to abandoned boats caught or stranded along the All American Canal and at Wiest Lake, where deteriorating hulls pose hazards to surrounding property.
Drop 4 Reservoir draws recreational boaters whose aging vessels are eventually left behind when repairs are no longer worth the cost. Sunbeam Lake sees a similar pattern, with pontoons and fishing boats sitting idle for years before owners seek removal. Across the Imperial Valley, dry desert storage conditions accelerate hull decay, making professional extraction and eco conscious disposal the only practical solution.
