Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Proper boat removal in Five Points can only be done safely with the right marine team and equipment, whether the vessel is wedged in near Scott Spring or sitting in a flooded yard. Inherited boats often come without titles or paperwork. Our boat removers understand how to legally and properly dispose of vessels in these situations. The combination of towing, disposal, and local regulatory issues can cause delays.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Disposing of an aging boat in Five Points often becomes challenging, especially for hulls pulled from Ocean Pond. Lead paint and other toxic materials require special handling. Our crew dismantles the mast, removes all equipment and electronics from the vessel, and, if necessary, detaches the fly bridge. Landfills generally can’t take larger vessels unless they’re first crushed or demolished. Sit back and let the AAA Rousse team handle it all.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal around Five Points often starts at Alligator Lake, where neglected vessels left at the public ramp or moored in shallow water become hazards each dry season. Owners near Falling Creek also call us when runabouts and jon boats are left stranded on low sandbars after summer floods. These situations call for fast, safe extraction before state agencies issue citations.
Farther out, we regularly retrieve abandoned watercraft from the Ichetucknee River corridor, where current damage and overgrowth make conventional trailering impossible. Jobs near Ocean Pond in Osceola National Forest involve soft shorelines that demand specialized lift equipment. Crews reach many of these sites by routing along US-90, which keeps haul times short and minimizes road permit complications for oversize loads.
