Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat

Removing an unwanted boat in Buncombe takes a professional crew to do it right. Old boats frequently have rotten wood, rusted parts, or brittle fiberglass. Professional crews know how to dismantle and dispose of them correctly without injury or contamination. Local restrictions, towing logistics along Goreville Road, and disposal regulations can slow down boat removal.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

Parting with an old boat in Buncombe near Devil's Kitchen Lake isn't always a simple task. EPA guidelines for fuel, oil, and hazardous waste must be followed. Our work also includes removing masts, stripping out electronics, and, if necessary, reducing the flybridge. Most larger vessels cannot be accepted at landfills unless they are crushed or demolished. Let our AAA Rousse experts handle the entire process.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Boat removal around this part of southern Illinois most often starts at Lake of Egypt, where aging pontoons and motorboats get tied off and forgotten at private docks after seasons of neglect. Owners discover cracked hulls, flooded bilges, and seized engines, and the vessel becomes a liability rather than a recreational asset. Devil's Kitchen Lake sees similar situations, with storm damaged and partially submerged hulls requiring prompt salvage before they create navigational hazards.

Crab Orchard Lake draws a wide range of boaters across Johnson County, and when vessels reach end of life, they often end up stranded on trailers in overgrown yards or sinking at seasonal slips. Shoreline property owners also contact us when inherited boats have no title and no clear path to resale, making professional removal and eco conscious disposal the only practical option. Our crew handles every step from water extraction to licensed material recycling.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We used AAA Rousse Junk Removal to help clean out items from our fathers place after he passed away. We were on a limited schedule (we live out of state) and the staff was more than accommodating. After the initial pickup was completed we decided we had more to get rid of and they were able to come the same day. Great service and fair pricing. Great to work with!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The best company I've ever used when dealing with our building clean up. We are in the process of selling and the buyers are extremely unreasonable but after hearing about AAA and dealing with Jennine and her assurance that our property would be professionally cleaned and all cleared (equipment, debris, trash etc..) not only did she deliver on that promise but knocked it out of the ballpark!! Thank you so much AAA and Jennine, we could have NEVER done it without you.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. AAA Roussee is the BEST company ever!!! I hired them to help my friend who had a major problem with bed bugs in Miami. We had the place exterminated, but bed bugs are almost impossible to get rid of totally unless all fabric furniture and rugs, etc. are disposed of. My friend is VERY stubborn and would not agree to let them take the expensive rug and other furniture, he just wasn't grasping the importance of that. The pickup guy, Corey, was able to convince him to let go of ALL necessary items, Corey has such a wonderful way about him, I called him "The Bug Whisperer"... my friend fully cooperated, got rid of everything, we will have one last followup extermination check and now there is hope to totally resolve this HORRIBLE problem. This company is the BEST!!!!! Also, Robert, who I set everything up with, is such a great guy... he took a personal interest on the phone and made us understand the severity of the problem and what needed to be done, he went WAY ABOVE and BEYOND the call of duty!!!! If he had not bothered to listen and discuss and truly advise and help this never would have been resolved. Thank you Robert and Corey!!!!!! Do not bother with any other company!!! These people are caring and honest and get the job done thoroughly and quickly.
