Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Unwanted boats in Lakewood Shores pulled from Braidwood Lake tend to be more complicated to remove than expected. Specialized cranes or barges may be required. Our team takes down the mast, removes the boat’s equipment and electronics, and cuts off the flybridge if needed. Since most landfills can’t take larger boats as they are, they need to be crushed or dismantled first. Don’t worry - our team takes care of that for you, making the whole process simple and stress-free. Relax - we’ve got it handled.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boats left too long along the Kankakee River or anchored in Braidwood Lake are among the most common removal calls in the area. Owners returning to Fossil Rock Campground waterfront sites often discover abandoned or deteriorating hulls that require professional extraction, craning, or water recovery before they can be legally cleared from the property.
Vessels trailered to the Braidwood Sportsman's Club ramp and never retrieved create logistical and liability problems for property managers. Crews traveling Reed Road frequently service storage yards and private lots where pontoons and motorboats have sat unregistered for years, making professional removal the only practical option for Will County landowners.
