Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Proper boat removal in Towanda can only be done safely with the right marine team and equipment, whether the vessel is beached near the Comlara Park boat launch or stored on private land. Inherited boats often come without titles or paperwork. Our boat removers understand how to legally and properly dispose of vessels in these situations. The combination of towing, disposal, and local regulatory issues can cause delays.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Disposing of an aging boat in Towanda often becomes challenging, especially when access requires navigating Six Points Road. Lead paint and other toxic materials require special handling. Our crew dismantles the mast, removes all equipment and electronics from the vessel, and, if necessary, detaches the fly bridge. Landfills generally can’t take larger vessels unless they’re first crushed or demolished. Sit back and let the AAA Rousse team handle it all.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal around here often starts with vessels that have sat unused on Evergreen Lake for years, their owners unsure how to move them off a lift or out of a slip. Comlara Park boat launch sees a steady flow of abandoned and distressed craft, and our crews regularly respond to calls from property owners who inherited waterlogged hulls with no paperwork and no clear path forward.
Lake Bloomington draws recreational boaters throughout the season, and end of season often exposes neglected pontoons and motorboats left in storage yards or on deteriorating trailers near the shoreline. Owners in Towanda also contact us after storms leave partially sunken boats in creek inlets off Money Creek, requiring careful extraction and responsible disposal to meet state environmental standards.
