Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat

Removing an old or damaged boat in Everest requires more than an unskilled workforce. It requires professionals. Boats taking up space in yards or parking lots near Sac and Fox Lake are difficult to move without damage. Crews use proper trailers and equipment to remove them efficiently. Local restrictions, complicated towing, and strict disposal procedures can hold up the process.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

In Everest, boat removal for older vessels usually isn’t quick or easy. Boats left in backyards in the Iowa Point District can be hard to extract without damaging property. The AAA Rousse crew will take down the mast, clear off the gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if we have to, to get the job done. Bigger boats usually need a little extra work, like crushing or demolition, before a landfill will accept them. We handle all of that on your behalf, so you can relax knowing everything’s being done the right way. We do the hard work and you enjoy the ease.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Boat removals near Everest often involve vessels pulled from the Grasshopper River after flooding or neglect leaves hulls grounded and deteriorating. Owners storing boats near Brown County State Lake frequently call for pickup when trailers rust out or registrations lapse. Hiawatha Municipal Lake sees similar cases where weekend crafts are simply abandoned at the ramp after mechanical failure leaves them stranded.

Along the Wolf River corridor, partially submerged aluminum fishing boats and flat bottoms are among the most common recovery jobs crews handle in Brown County. The Iowa Point district generates calls from landowners dealing with junk hulls left behind by previous tenants on rural lots. The Everest Boat Launch area also sees requests when trailered vessels break down on site and owners lack the equipment to haul them out safely.

Prompt, came out same day within a few hours of calling them. They were very careful while moving the junk. Friendly. Takes all forms of payment. I plan on calling them again. Mark and Christina came the next trip to remove more junk. They were very professional, quick, worked hard, and even swept the mess left from the junk on the garage floor.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!

The team did a wonderful job clearing out 2 of our office suites. Both suites contained about 40+ cubicles, 11 executives offices, at 3 conference rooms. It took about a week to get everything out of there but they were fair and always updated me throughout the day. They also sent pictures to make sure I knew they were filling the trailer up (they charge by the load).
