Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat

Handling neglected boats in Savage requires skilled crews, especially in the River Walk neighborhood, to ensure safe disposal. Burned-out hulls may collapse if moved improperly. Removal experts know how to dismantle and transport fire-damaged vessels safely. In many cases, towing logistics, disposal regulations, and local ordinances cause delays in removing boats.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

Old boat disposal in Savage often proves frustrating. There is usually limited access to docks or marinas for removal equipment, particularly along Cedar Lane. Our AAA Rousse marine team handles mast removal, gear and electronics stripping, and flybridge cutting when required. Most landfills won’t accept larger vessels in one piece, which means they need to be crushed or demolished first. Our crews handle the entire process safely and efficiently, so you don’t have to worry about the details. Sit back, AAA Rousse has it covered.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Boat removals in this area frequently involve watercraft left along the Patuxent River, where seasonal flooding and shifting banks can leave hulls partially grounded or submerged. Owners pulling out at Supplee Lane Boat Ramp sometimes abandon vessels that deteriorate quickly. Rocky Gorge Reservoir also sees neglected boats that require professional extraction before environmental damage spreads.

Storage yard abandonment is another common scenario, with owners walking away from boats kept near Hammond Branch and other local corridors as repair costs mount. Flooded driveways after heavy rain along the Patuxent watershed push more calls our way. Jobs near Guilford Road often involve trailered hulls that have sat so long the trailer itself must be separated before the vessel can move.

Prompt, came out same day within a few hours of calling them. They were very careful while moving the junk. Friendly. Takes all forms of payment. I plan on calling them again. Mark and Christina came the next trip to remove more junk. They were very professional, quick, worked hard, and even swept the mess left from the junk on the garage floor.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!

The team did a wonderful job clearing out 2 of our office suites. Both suites contained about 40+ cubicles, 11 executives offices, at 3 conference rooms. It took about a week to get everything out of there but they were fair and always updated me throughout the day. They also sent pictures to make sure I knew they were filling the trailer up (they charge by the load).
