Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
The process of getting rid of a junk boat in Custer near Lake Bellaire is often more challenging than it first appears. Boats partially sunk are extremely difficult to lift, float, and tow. Our work also includes removing masts, stripping out electronics, and, if necessary, reducing the flybridge. Larger vessels often require demolition or crushing before they can be disposed of at a landfill. We take care of this step for you, making the entire removal and disposal process smooth and stress-free. AAA Rousse - we do it all, so you don’t have to.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Common boat removal situations in Custer often involve vessels left unattended at Grass Lake or trailered to the Rapid City Boat Launch but never retrieved. Owners relocating out of state, estate settlements, and mechanical failures are the most frequent causes. Our team coordinates pickup directly with property owners, marinas, or local authorities to keep waterways clear and accessible for everyone.
Abandoned boats are also discovered along rural pull offs near Hanley Road or partially submerged along the shoreline of Lake Skegemog. In Antrim County, seasonal storms and ice damage frequently leave watercraft stranded with no clear owner on record. We handle title research, hauling, and responsible disposal so waterway managers and private landowners can resolve these situations quickly and without added expense.
