Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Removing an old or damaged boat in Vergennes requires more than an unskilled workforce. It requires professionals. Boats taking up space in yards or parking lots in Cascade Township are difficult to move without damage. Crews use proper trailers and equipment to remove them efficiently. Local restrictions, complicated towing, and strict disposal procedures can hold up the process.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
In Vergennes, boat removal for older vessels usually isn’t quick or easy. Boats left in backyards near Lowell Storage can be hard to extract without damaging property. The AAA Rousse crew will take down the mast, clear off the gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if we have to, to get the job done. Bigger boats usually need a little extra work, like crushing or demolition, before a landfill will accept them. We handle all of that on your behalf, so you can relax knowing everything’s being done the right way. We do the hard work and you enjoy the ease.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Many boat removals in the area begin at the Lowell Area boat launch on the Grand River, where aging pontoons and motorboats have sat tied up or grounded after years of disuse. Owners around Vergennes Township and along the Ada Drive corridor frequently call us when a vessel has become too deteriorated to trailer out safely on their own.
Removals from backyard lots near Bowes Road and off Fulton Street are common, especially after estates change hands and an old sailboat or runabout is discovered dry docked beside a barn. We also respond to calls from Smyrna area property owners dealing with waterlogged hulls pulled from tributaries feeding into the Thornapple River.
