Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
In Foxfire, the process of boat removal can turn out to be unexpectedly difficult. Many marinas or property owners want old boats removed quickly, but the process often takes longer than expected due to weather, time sensitivity, towing restrictions on Carbonton Road, and more. Our crews remove masts, strip the boat of its gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if necessary. Larger vessels can’t go to a landfill unless we crush or demolish them. Let the AAA Rousse do all the work for you.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal around Foxfire often starts at Lake Tillery or along the Little River, where aging vessels get left behind after seasons of light use. Owners dealing with sunken hulls near the Pee Dee River find that weather damage and silting make extraction far more involved than a simple trailer haul, requiring specialized rigging and a crew that knows the local waterways.
On private lots near Reedy Creek and around the shores of Lake Tarkill, derelict pontoons and old fishing boats accumulate when owners move or pass on property. In these cases removal involves coordinating with Moore County waste guidelines and navigating narrow access roads before the vessel can be safely loaded, transported, and processed for eco conscious disposal.
