Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat

Removing an old or damaged boat in Carteret near Waterfront Park requires more than an unskilled workforce. It requires professionals. Boats taking up space in yards or parking lots are difficult to move without damage. Crews use proper trailers and equipment to remove them efficiently. Local restrictions, complicated towing, and strict disposal procedures can hold up the process.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

In Carteret, boat removal for older vessels usually isn’t quick or easy. Boats left in backyards off Cooke Avenue can be hard to extract without damaging property. The AAA Rousse crew will take down the mast, clear off the gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if we have to, to get the job done. Bigger boats usually need a little extra work, like crushing or demolition, before a landfill will accept them. We handle all of that on your behalf, so you can relax knowing everything’s being done the right way. We do the hard work and you enjoy the ease.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Boat removal in Carteret often starts at the Morgan section waterfront, where owners leave aging vessels tied to private docks after they stop running. The Cross Bay area sees frequent calls for pontoons and motorboats that have sat through too many winters, and the borough boat ramp off Pershing Avenue gives crews a practical haul out point for waterlogged hulls.

Inland removals are just as common, with boats stranded in storage lots near the industrial corridor along Middlesex Avenue needing flatbed extraction. Slips along the Arthur Kill waterfront in the Port Reading area draw recovery calls when vessels sink or flood beyond repair, and crews regularly navigate the narrow yards off Carteret Avenue to reach boats left on trailers or blocks for years.

Prompt, came out same day within a few hours of calling them. They were very careful while moving the junk. Friendly. Takes all forms of payment. I plan on calling them again. Mark and Christina came the next trip to remove more junk. They were very professional, quick, worked hard, and even swept the mess left from the junk on the garage floor.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!

The team did a wonderful job clearing out 2 of our office suites. Both suites contained about 40+ cubicles, 11 executives offices, at 3 conference rooms. It took about a week to get everything out of there but they were fair and always updated me throughout the day. They also sent pictures to make sure I knew they were filling the trailer up (they charge by the load).
