Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Removing a worn-out boat in Amesville is rarely quick or simple. Rotting hulls fall apart during the removal process. Our crews dismantle masts, clear the boat of gear and electronics, and remove the flybridge if required. Since most landfills can’t take larger boats as they are, they need to be crushed or dismantled first. Our team takes care of this for you safely and responsibly, so the process is simple, stress-free and environmentally sound. No stress, just AAA Rousse.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat owners in Amesville most often call for removal when a vessel has sat unused on a trailer near Strouds Run State Park or sunk along the banks of Raccoon Creek. Seasonal flooding along these waterways leaves hulls stranded in mud or wedged against brush, making standard towing impossible and requiring specialized lift equipment and experienced crews to extract the wreck safely.
Another common scenario involves vessels stored for years at informal lots near the Hocking Hills region, where owners eventually discover rot, hull separation, or engine failure that makes the boat unrecoverable. In Athens County, waterfront property transfers also trigger removal requests, as buyers along Dow Lake near Burr Oak State Park demand that abandoned boats be cleared before closing on the sale.
