Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
An old, junk boat in Geneva near the Grand River often becomes a stubborn problem to solve. Barnacles and marine growth add weight, making the boat removal process more difficult. Our Teams take off the masts, clear out the boat’s gear and electronics and cut off the flybridge if needed. Most larger vessels are not accepted at landfills unless we crush or demolish them. Let us take care of it.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal in Geneva most often follows the end of the summer season, when owners retrieve vessels from launch ramps near Breakwater Beach and along the shoreline access points off Route 534. Storms can also force early haul outs, leaving watercraft stranded in low lying areas. Our team coordinates prompt pickup to prevent damage and keep public access corridors clear throughout Ashtabula County.
Abandoned or unregistered boats occasionally surface near Cunningham Creek and as far east as Ashtabula Harbor, requiring coordinated removal between property owners and local authorities. Whether a vessel has sunk partially, drifted onto private land, or simply been left behind after a sale, our licensed crew handles documentation, transport, and responsible disposal so waterways remain safe and navigable year round.
