Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat

Boat removal services along Lost Creek Arm in Dexter must be carried out by professionals to be done right. Boats with seized engines are heavy and difficult to transport. Professionals use winches, cranes, and tow rigs to remove them safely. Strict local ordinances, difficult towing arrangements, and disposal laws can slow removal efforts.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

Dexter boat owners are discovering that boat removal and disposal takes more time and effort than they realized. Shallow waters or sandbars near Hills Creek Reservoir in Dexter can make boat transport very difficult. AAA Rousse’s crew handles all the dismantling: removing masts, stripping electronics and gear, and cutting the flybridge if required. Because landfills generally do not take large vessels as-is, extra steps like crushing or dismantling are required. We manage this process from start to finish, ensuring your boat is prepared and accepted without hassle. Stress-free boat removal? Leave it to us.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Boat removal calls near Dexter frequently involve vessels left idle on the reservoir after years of minimal use. Owners storing boats at the Dexter State Recreation Site ramp area or along the Willamette River tributaries upstream often find hulls deteriorating faster than expected. Aging fiberglass and seized motors make these removals demanding work that requires professional equipment and local waterway knowledge.

Storm damage along Fall Creek is another common driver of removal requests, where pontoons and runabouts break loose from makeshift moorings during high water events. Landowners near the Lookout Point Reservoir spillway corridor also contact us after floods deposit abandoned vessels on their property. In each case our crew assesses access, handles all permits, and coordinates responsible disposal from start to finish.

I was cleaning out a family member’s house that bordered on being a hoarder. I called AAA Rousse and they were able to promptly meet my junk hauling needs on two separate occasions. The men providing the service were friendly and professional. They definitely made the process easy.

The family owned company was wonderful! They came in and undertook a very difficult project without complaining and they did it at the price that they quoted to us originally. They were friendly patient hard-working and did a great job! We would not hesitate to call them again and we would recommend them to anyone we know.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!
