Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
An old, junk boat in Hermiston on the Umatilla River often becomes a stubborn problem to solve. Barnacles and marine growth add weight, making the boat removal process more difficult. Our Teams take off the masts, clear out the boat’s gear and electronics and cut off the flybridge if needed. Most larger vessels are not accepted at landfills unless we crush or demolish them. Let us take care of it.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal around the McNary Pool is one of the most frequent calls our crew receives. Vessels left at Warehouse Beach boat launch or beached along Lake Wallula shorelines often become waterlogged and require heavy extraction equipment. Owners dealing with sunken or storm battered hulls in these stretches face strict environmental rules before any haul can begin.
Storage lots near the Hermiston industrial area fill up with neglected pontoons and motorboats every season. Many sit unclaimed after winters near Irrigon Marina or are towed from the Umatilla Army Depot access roads following ownership disputes. Our team handles title paperwork, dismantling, and eco conscious disposal so these abandoned vessels do not become a long term liability for the property owner.
