Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat

Handling neglected boats in New Jerusalem requires skilled crews, experienced with conditions on Blue Marsh Lake, to ensure safe disposal. Burned-out hulls may collapse if moved improperly. Removal experts know how to dismantle and transport fire-damaged vessels safely. In many cases, towing logistics, disposal regulations, and local ordinances cause delays in removing boats.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

Old boat disposal in New Jerusalem often proves frustrating. There is usually limited access to docks or marinas, such as along Sacony Creek, for removal equipment. Our AAA Rousse marine team handles mast removal, gear and electronics stripping, and flybridge cutting when required. Most landfills won’t accept larger vessels in one piece, which means they need to be crushed or demolished first. Our crews handle the entire process safely and efficiently, so you don’t have to worry about the details. Sit back, AAA Rousse has it covered.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Boat removal in this area frequently involves vessels stored along the banks of Tulpehocken Creek or trailered to the Monocacy Hill boat launch after owners give up on aging hulls. Pontoons and motorboats left in low lying fields after flooding are also common calls, and our crews navigate rural access roads to reach them without additional damage to the property.

Sunken or partially grounded boats near the Perkiomen Creek watershed present another regular scenario, where deteriorated hulls must be lifted and transported before they become environmental hazards. Abandoned sailboats left in dry storage lots near Boyertown are also retrieved, with our team handling all dismantling, mast removal, and licensed disposal so owners face no further compliance risk.

Prompt, came out same day within a few hours of calling them. They were very careful while moving the junk. Friendly. Takes all forms of payment. I plan on calling them again. Mark and Christina came the next trip to remove more junk. They were very professional, quick, worked hard, and even swept the mess left from the junk on the garage floor.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!

The team did a wonderful job clearing out 2 of our office suites. Both suites contained about 40+ cubicles, 11 executives offices, at 3 conference rooms. It took about a week to get everything out of there but they were fair and always updated me throughout the day. They also sent pictures to make sure I knew they were filling the trailer up (they charge by the load).
