Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Removing a worn-out boat in St. Thomas near Bard Road is rarely quick or simple. Rotting hulls fall apart during the removal process. Our crews dismantle masts, clear the boat of gear and electronics, and remove the flybridge if required. Since most landfills can’t take larger boats as they are, they need to be crushed or dismantled first. Our team takes care of this for you safely and responsibly, so the process is simple, stress-free and environmentally sound. No stress, just AAA Rousse.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal calls in this area often start at Cowpens Road boat launch, where owners find aged aluminum fishing boats sunk at the ramp or left grounded on the bank of the Conodoquinet Creek. Seasonal flooding along the creek pushes neglected hulls into awkward positions, making standard trailer retrieval impossible and requiring AAA Rousse crews to use specialized lift equipment and rigging.
Storage lot removals near the Buchanan State Forest access roads are another frequent scenario, where trailers rot under boats that have sat for years uncovered. Owners near the Falling Spring Branch corridor also contact us after inheriting pontoons or jon boats left on rural properties with no clear title, requiring our team to manage both the physical extraction and the proper disposal paperwork.
