Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Parting with an old boat in Wright isn't always a simple task, especially for Back Mountain property owners. EPA guidelines for fuel, oil, and hazardous waste must be followed. Our work also includes removing masts, stripping out electronics, and, if necessary, reducing the flybridge. Most larger vessels cannot be accepted at landfills unless they are crushed or demolished. Let our AAA Rousse experts handle the entire process.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal calls around Wright often start at Lily Lake or the docks along Lake Silkworth, where aging pontoons and motorboats are left to deteriorate at the water's edge. Owners selling lakefront property or settling estates find that getting a non running vessel off the water without professional help quickly becomes a costly and complicated ordeal.
Landlocked removals are just as common, particularly from storage yards near the Mountaintop area and private lots off Route 309, where trailered hulls sit forgotten for years. Whether a boat has been condemned after a storm or simply outlived its usefulness, our crew coordinates the full haul, handling all paperwork and eco conscious disposal for Luzerne County residents.
