Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Removing an old or damaged boat in Goshen requires more than an unskilled workforce. It requires professionals. Boats taking up space in yards or parking lots near Lake Merriweather are difficult to move without damage. Crews use proper trailers and equipment to remove them efficiently. Local restrictions, complicated towing, and strict disposal procedures can hold up the process.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
In Goshen, boat removal for older vessels pulled from Jump Rock Landing usually isn't quick or easy. Boats left in backyards can be hard to extract without damaging property. The AAA Rousse crew will take down the mast, clear off the gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if we have to, to get the job done. Bigger boats usually need a little extra work, like crushing or demolition, before a landfill will accept them. We handle all of that on your behalf, so you can relax knowing everything’s being done the right way. We do the hard work and you enjoy the ease.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removals around Goshen often involve vessels pulled from the upper Maury River corridor or left sitting at private riverfront properties after seasonal use. Owners near Goshen Pass Natural Area Preserve frequently need extraction help when a hull becomes stranded on rocky banks or in shallow water after flooding, making professional equipment essential for a safe haul out.
Other common jobs come from Camp Paddy Run and the surrounding hollow roads where old aluminum fishing boats and jon boats are abandoned on hillside lots or behind seasonal cabins. Waterlogged hulls along Calfpasture River tributaries also call for specialized rigging and trailer work before the vessel can be moved to a licensed disposal facility without damaging surrounding terrain.
