Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Boat removal services in McMillan must be carried out by professionals to be done right. Boats with seized engines are heavy and difficult to transport on or off the McMillan Flowage. Professionals use winches, cranes, and tow rigs to remove them safely. Strict local ordinances, difficult towing arrangements, and disposal laws can slow removal efforts.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
McMillan boat owners are discovering that boat removal and disposal takes more time and effort than they realized. Shallow waters or sandbars near the Griffith Park Boat Launch in McMillan can make boat transport very difficult. AAA Rousse’s crew handles all the dismantling: removing masts, stripping electronics and gear, and cutting the flybridge if required. Because landfills generally do not take large vessels as-is, extra steps like crushing or dismantling are required. We manage this process from start to finish, ensuring your boat is prepared and accepted without hassle. Stress-free boat removal? Leave it to us.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boats moored along the Eau Pleine Flowage or stored at the Biron Flowage area often sit idle for years before owners seek removal. Seasonal flooding, shifting shorelines, and aging hulls leave many vessels stranded and unsalvageable. In McMillan, owners of pontoons and flat bottom fishing boats regularly call us after a watercraft becomes too deteriorated to trailer out on their own.
Inland storage lots near the Junction City area and private land parcels along the Little Eau Pleine River are common pickup spots for our crews. Owners who inherited a property often discover an old runabout or aluminum fishing boat left behind. Marathon County regulations require proper disposal, and our team coordinates transport and scrapping so landowners stay fully compliant without the hassle.
