RV and Motorhome Disposal in Killingly, Connecticut

Has your RV been sitting idle for years on a property backing up to the Quinebaug River, collecting rust and taking up space you could actually use? Maybe a pop up camper has been parked at the edge of a lot near Five Mile River since a camping trip that never quite happened. Homeowners in East Killingly and across this sprawling town know how fast an unwanted trailer goes from a minor eyesore to a real problem. AAA Rousse takes care of every detail, including the paperwork that releases you from liability once the unit is gone. From a full sized motorhome on a gravel pad somewhere near the Brooklyn Fairgrounds to a small camper squeezed into a narrow side yard, we handle the heavy lifting so you do not have to.

Campers & RVs We Haul Away

RVs end up abandoned for all kinds of reasons, whether it is a breakdown, a change in circumstances, or years of neglect near a spot like Cargill Falls that was once a favorite weekend destination. A lot of campers in this part of the state were bought with trips to Alexander Lake in mind and simply never moved after the last one. AAA Rousse hauls away pop up campers, fifth wheels, travel trailers, and full sized motorhomes from anywhere in Killingly, including the rural back lots of South Killingly. Units parked along winding stretches of Route 101 or tucked behind outbuildings are no problem for our experienced crew. AAA Rousse has operated responsibly since 2006 and provides documents releasing you from any liability once removal is complete.

Common RV Removal and Disposal Scenarios in Killingly, CT

RV removal in a town this size often means reaching a travel trailer sitting at the end of a long dirt driveway off Rogers Road or a motorhome left behind after a property changes hands in Westfield. Rural lots here tend to have soft ground and mature tree lines that close in around a large unit, making access planning an important first step before any tow vehicle arrives.

Older properties near the Mill District sometimes include detached outbuildings and rear lots where campers have sat long enough to develop serious roof leaks, mold, and rotted subfloors. AAA Rousse handles motorhomes that will not start, units with flat or missing tires, and RVs with fire or water damage, including trailers that sat through standing water in low lying areas around Attawaugan.

Commercial yards near the Killingly Industrial Park are generally straightforward to access, though every haul still requires a clear path out to a public road. Campers parked on the sloped lots common along Plain Hill Road need extra planning, since a unit that will not roll must be winched before it can be loaded safely. Some deteriorated units can be removed intact, while others need preparation work before they are ready to transport. Condition, site accessibility, and whether the unit rolls all shape how the removal gets handled.

I was cleaning out a family member’s house that bordered on being a hoarder. I called AAA Rousse and they were able to promptly meet my junk hauling needs on two separate occasions. The men providing the service were friendly and professional. They definitely made the process easy.

The family owned company was wonderful! They came in and undertook a very difficult project without complaining and they did it at the price that they quoted to us originally. They were friendly patient hard-working and did a great job! We would not hesitate to call them again and we would recommend them to anyone we know.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!
Is the service environmentally friendly?

Yes. AAA Rousse disposes of RVs in compliance with applicable environmental regulations, ensuring fluids, materials, and components are handled responsibly rather than dumped.

Absolutely. Landlords and property managers can request removal directly. If you manage a rental property along Green Hollow Road or anywhere else in the area, we can coordinate access and complete the paperwork to release the property from liability.

In addition to all types of RVs, we also remove boats, trailers, and other large unwanted vehicles. Contact us to ask about a specific item you need cleared.

Yes. A salvage title does not prevent us from removing a vehicle. We handle the documentation on our end so you are not left holding any ongoing responsibility for the unit.

We salvage and recycle components wherever possible. Usable parts are separated before disposal so that materials are reused rather than sent entirely to a landfill.

Call us at 860-590-3650 or book online. We will gather a few basic details about your unit and property, give you a straightforward quote, and schedule a pickup time that works for you.
