RV and Motorhome Disposal in Rock Ridge, Connecticut

When an old RV has quietly settled into a yard near the Pound Ridge border and shows no sign of moving on its own, the situation has a way of becoming a long term headache for property owners. Sometimes a camper gets parked just off a wooded lot near the Saugatuck River for a season and ends up staying for years through sheer inertia. A rig that once seemed like a good idea can develop leaks, rot, and flat tires before anyone gets around to dealing with it, and concerns about legal disposal along corridors near the Norwalk River only add to the delay. AAA Rousse takes the entire process off your plate, handling the paperwork that formally releases you from liability so the unit is no longer your legal burden regardless of where it sits in Rock Ridge. Whether it is a full size motorhome on a cramped residential lot in Wilton Center or a small pop up camper tucked behind a detached garage, our crew does the heavy lifting from start to finish.

Campers & RVs We Haul Away

RVs end up abandoned for all kinds of reasons, from mechanical failures to life changes to a camper that was simply too large to move out of its spot on a tight wooded property in Silvermine. Many rigs in this part of Western Connecticut Planning Region were bought with weekend trips to Waveny Park in mind and have not left the driveway since those plans fell through. AAA Rousse hauls away travel trailers, fifth wheels, pop up campers, Class A motorhomes, and every other type of RV, including rigs parked on rural lots out toward Cannondale. Properties along the Merritt Parkway corridor often have long driveways where a dead unit can be especially tricky to extract, and our team comes equipped to handle exactly those situations. AAA Rousse has operated responsibly since 2006, provides all documentation releasing you from liability, and keeps the process straightforward from the first call to the final haul away.

Common RV Removal and Disposal Scenarios in Rock Ridge, CT

RV removal in this area often means a neglected travel trailer sitting in a driveway in West Rocks or a motorhome left behind after an estate sale in Rowayton. Older and more established neighborhoods here tend to have mature tree canopies and narrow lanes that make maneuvering a tow vehicle around a large fifth wheel a real logistical challenge worth planning for carefully.

Properties near the Five Mile River sometimes include wooded back lots where campers have sat undisturbed for years, accumulating roof leaks, mold, and rotted subfloors. AAA Rousse handles motorhomes that will not start, units with flat or missing tires, and RVs with fire or water damage, including trailers that absorbed storm flooding near Calf Pasture Beach.

Rigs stored near commercial lots along Route 7 are generally more accessible, though every removal still needs a clear exit path planned before equipment arrives. Units parked on steep or uneven ground in Spring Hill require extra preparation, since a camper that will not roll must be winched and staged before it can be loaded safely. Some deteriorated units can be removed intact, while severely damaged RVs may need additional steps before they are road ready. Condition, site access, and whether the unit rolls all shape how each removal is handled.

I was cleaning out a family member’s house that bordered on being a hoarder. I called AAA Rousse and they were able to promptly meet my junk hauling needs on two separate occasions. The men providing the service were friendly and professional. They definitely made the process easy.

The family owned company was wonderful! They came in and undertook a very difficult project without complaining and they did it at the price that they quoted to us originally. They were friendly patient hard-working and did a great job! We would not hesitate to call them again and we would recommend them to anyone we know.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!
Is the service environmentally friendly?

Yes. AAA Rousse disposes of RVs through licensed facilities that follow environmental regulations for fluids, batteries, and materials. We do not dump units illegally or leave materials behind on your property.

Yes. We work with landlords, property managers, and commercial clients regularly, including rental properties in SoNo where a tenant has left a camper behind. The property owner or authorized manager can request the removal.

Beyond RVs, we remove boats, trailers, and other large unwanted items from residential and commercial properties. Contact us to ask whether a specific item qualifies.

Yes. A salvage title does not prevent us from removing and processing a vehicle. We handle the necessary documentation regardless of the unit's title status.

Where possible, usable parts and materials are directed toward recycling rather than landfill. The condition of the unit determines what can be recovered, but responsible disposal is always the goal.

Call us at 203-594-8357 or use the online booking form to get started. We will ask a few basic questions about the unit, its location, and its condition so we can give you an accurate estimate before we schedule a pickup.
