AAA Rousse RV removal – motorhome and camper hauling service

RV Removal in Layton, FL

Monroe County's Lower Keys stretch includes Layton, FL, a quiet community on Long Key where AAA Rousse handles RV removal for property owners with a travel trailer or camper taking up valuable space. Situated along the Overseas Highway corridor, residential lots here are tight, and removing an unwanted motorhome or fifth wheel requires experienced hands.

RV and Motorhome Disposal in Layton, Florida

If you have an old motorhome or travel trailer sitting on a narrow residential lot with water visible from Florida Bay out back, you already know how precious every square foot of property is out here. Lots that back up toward Long Key Bight tend to be small, shaded, and hemmed in, which means an unused RV can take over a yard faster than owners expect. AAA Rousse handles all of the removal and disposal legally and responsibly so you never have to wonder whether the job was done right. We take care of every piece of paperwork that releases you from liability, the kind of detail that matters whether your property sits just off the main road or anywhere near Layton's small city center around Layton City Hall. From a full size motorhome that hasn't moved since it was towed in before Long Key Bridge was last repaved to a compact pop up camper wedged between two palms, our crew handles the heavy work so you can have your property back.

Campers & RVs We Haul Away

RVs end up abandoned for all kinds of reasons out here, from hurricane damage and deferred repairs to owners on the mainland who simply stopped making the drive down past Conch Key. Long Key State Park draws campers from across the country, and some rigs that were meant to park temporarily never made it back out of Monroe County. AAA Rousse hauls away pop up campers, fifth wheels, travel trailers, and full size motorhomes, whether the unit is sitting on a concrete pad in the heart of Long Key or tucked into a shaded back lot. Tight island lots are nothing new to our crew, and we have pulled units from properties in Duck Key and every other community along this stretch of the Keys. Historic spots like the old Long Key Fishing Camp remind locals how long this area has drawn visitors, and some of those visitors left rigs behind that have been sitting for decades. AAA Rousse has operated responsibly since 2006 and provides documents releasing you from any liability.

Common RV Removal and Disposal Scenarios in Layton, FL

RV removal in this part of the Keys often starts with a travel trailer sitting on a lot that has not been touched since before a major storm, or a motorhome left behind when a property changed hands. Communities near Grassy Key share the same conditions as Layton, with lots that sit close to the water and limited turnaround space, and units parked anywhere near Channel Five face salt air exposure that accelerates rust and frame rot.

Properties near Tom's Harbor include narrow driveways lined with mangroves where a camper can sit for years collecting roof leaks, mold, and soft flooring. AAA Rousse handles units that will not start, rigs with flat or missing tires, and RVs with fire or flood damage, including coaches that sat through storm surge not far from Curry Hammock State Park.

Some lots in this area include waterside sections where access to a deteriorated unit requires winching before the RV can be loaded onto the truck, especially when the ground is uneven or the rig sits near the edge of a canal off Long Key Lakes. Condition, accessibility, and whether the unit rolls all affect how removal is handled, and our team assesses each situation before we begin. Some units can be hauled intact, while severely damaged RVs may need extra preparation to move safely. We plan each removal to protect the surrounding property and complete the job cleanly.

I was cleaning out a family member’s house that bordered on being a hoarder. I called AAA Rousse and they were able to promptly meet my junk hauling needs on two separate occasions. The men providing the service were friendly and professional. They definitely made the process easy.

The family owned company was wonderful! They came in and undertook a very difficult project without complaining and they did it at the price that they quoted to us originally. They were friendly patient hard-working and did a great job! We would not hesitate to call them again and we would recommend them to anyone we know.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!
Is the service environmentally friendly?

Yes. We dispose of RVs in compliance with all applicable environmental regulations, making sure fluids, batteries, and other materials are handled properly and do not end up in local waterways.

Yes. We work with landlords, property managers, and rental owners throughout Monroe County, including properties as far down the island chain as Bahia Honda Key. We can coordinate removal with tenants present or after a property has been vacated.

In addition to RVs, we remove boats, trailers, and other large unwanted items from residential and commercial properties. Contact us to ask about a specific item.

Yes. A salvage title does not prevent removal. We handle the documentation on our end so you are released from liability regardless of the unit's title status.

We do our best to salvage and recycle usable components. Parts and materials that can be recovered are directed away from landfills whenever possible.

Call us at 305-515-5011 or use the online booking form to schedule. We will ask a few quick questions about the unit's size, condition, and location so we can give you an accurate quote.
