RV and Motorhome Disposal in Decorah, Iowa

Has your RV been sitting broken down for years behind a fence near Phelps Park? Maybe a camper showed up on your property off Oneota Street after a sale closed and the previous owner never made arrangements to move it. Put the removal and disposal in AAA Rousse's hands and know that it is handled legally, responsibly, and without you chasing paperwork down College Drive. We take care of the liability release documents whether the unit is tucked beside a garage near the Luther College campus or sitting on a rural acreage farther out. From a weathered motorhome to a small pop up camper parked along Locust Road, we handle the heavy work so you do not have to deal with it anymore.

Campers & RVs We Haul Away

RVs get abandoned for all kinds of reasons: breakdowns, family changes, or years of sitting idle near Dunning Spring where moisture and cold winters do real damage. Plenty of campers in this area were bought for weekend trips to spots along the Trout Run Trail corridor and simply never moved again after one too many repair bills. Dunning's Spring Park and the surrounding bluff terrain make Decorah a beautiful place to live but a challenging one when you need to maneuver a tow rig around a large fifth wheel. AAA Rousse hauls away pop up campers, oversized motorhomes, fifth wheels, and every other type of RV, whether it is sitting on flat ground near Heritage Trail or on a steeply graded lot out in the county. We get it done quickly, simply, and without stress, and we provide documents releasing you from any ongoing liability the moment the unit leaves your property.

Common RV Removal and Disposal Scenarios in Decorah, IA

RV removal in Decorah often means a neglected travel trailer parked in a driveway off Broadway Street or a motorhome left behind after an estate transfer. Properties near Twin Springs can sit on tight lots where mature trees and natural grade make positioning a tow vehicle a real logistical challenge that requires planning before the crew arrives.

Acreages along River Road sometimes include wooded back corners where campers have sat for years, developing roof leaks, mold, and rotted flooring from repeated freeze and thaw cycles. Properties near Pine Creek can see seasonal flooding that leaves units sitting in saturated ground, which complicates extraction. AAA Rousse handles motorhomes that will not start, units with flat or missing tires, and RVs with fire or water damage, including trailers that took on water during high runoff along Freeport Road.

RVs stored on gravel pads off Leiv Eriksson Drive are generally easier to reach, though every haul still needs a confirmed clear route out to the road. Coaches parked on the steep gravel driveways common on bluffside properties near Ice Cave Road take more planning, since a unit that will not roll has to be winched before it can be loaded onto the carrier. Rural lots off Quarry Lane can present tight gate clearances or soft ground conditions that affect the equipment and timing needed. Condition, accessibility, and whether the unit rolls all shape how the removal is handled.

The family owned company was wonderful! They came in and undertook a very difficult project without complaining and they did it at the price that they quoted to us originally. They were friendly patient hard-working and did a great job! We would not hesitate to call them again and we would recommend them to anyone we know.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!
Is the service environmentally friendly?

Yes. AAA Rousse disposes of RVs in compliance with applicable environmental regulations, which means fluids are drained and handled properly and materials are directed to licensed facilities rather than dumped.

Yes. We work with landlords and property managers on abandoned units. You will want to confirm you have followed the proper notice process under Iowa law before scheduling so the haul can proceed without any legal complications.

We remove a wide range of large unwanted items beyond RVs, including boats, trailers, and other vehicles that are no longer operable or wanted on the property.

Yes. A salvage title does not prevent us from picking up a vehicle. We handle the necessary paperwork on our end, so you do not need a clean title in hand to get started.

We recover and recycle usable components whenever it makes sense. Parts that still have value are separated out before the remainder of the unit goes to a licensed disposal facility near the Winneshiek County area.

Call us at 563-785-5540 or use the online booking option on this page. We will ask a few quick questions about the unit's location, size, and condition and then get you scheduled as soon as possible.
