Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
What seems like a quick fix, getting rid of an old boat in Aurelius, can become complicated even along Acme Street. There is always a risk of spills into waterways or streets from fuel while transporting. Our AAA Rousse Team will take down the masts, remove all gear and electronics, and, when necessary, detach the flybridge. Because landfills don’t accept most large vessels as-is, we handle the crushing or demolition when needed. Let us do the heavy lifting - AAA Rousse has it handled.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boats left sitting on trailers near the Marietta Municipal Boat Launch or tied to docks along Putnam Street Landing often reach a point where owners simply need them gone. Decaying hulls, expired registrations, and failed motors make removal the only option. In and around Aurelius, our crews regularly respond to calls for waterlogged vessels pulled from the Muskingum River and pontoons stranded at private riverfront lots.
Abandoned sailboats and jon boats at Bing Brothers Marina and neglected cabin cruisers stored near the East State Street corridor are among the most common removal requests we handle. Owners dealing with estate situations or storm damage along Washington County waterways often have no viable path to resale. AAA Rousse steps in to haul, dismantle, and dispose of these vessels responsibly regardless of condition or access difficulty.
