Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Unwanted boats in Ballou near the Pensacola Dam boat launch tend to be more complicated to remove than expected. Specialized cranes or barges may be required. Our team takes down the mast, removes the boat’s equipment and electronics, and cuts off the flybridge if needed. Since most landfills can’t take larger boats as they are, they need to be crushed or dismantled first. Don’t worry - our team takes care of that for you, making the whole process simple and stress-free. Relax - we’ve got it handled.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal around the Pensacola Dam area is one of the most common calls we receive, as vessels left in the shallows after low water seasons become stranded or sunken. Whitehorn Cove and the surrounding coves see frequent cases of abandoned pontoons and aging motorboats left behind after ownership changes, estate situations, or failed sale attempts.
Further inland, storage lots near the Locust Grove Marina Road corridor fill with deteriorating hulls that owners can no longer register or insure, requiring professional dismantling and eco conscious disposal. The boat ramps at Cherokee Cove also generate removal requests after storm damage leaves vessels beached or partially submerged, making crane access and a certified crew essential for safe extraction.
