Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
The reality is that boat removal is often much tougher than it seems for Bazine area residents, especially for vessels grounded near Ness County Lake. Some older vessels often contain asbestos insulation. Our Teams take off the masts, clear out the boat’s gear and electronics and cut off the flybridge if needed. Larger boats usually need to be crushed or demolished before a landfill will take them - and our team takes care of that process. You just sit back - AAA Rousse takes care of the rest.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal in Bazine most often involves vessels left idle along Walnut Creek or at the Ness County Lake boat ramp after seasons of neglect. Owners discover cracked hulls, flooded interiors, and motors beyond repair. These situations call for professional extraction, especially when a boat has settled into mud or soft shoreline soil and cannot simply be trailered away without specialized equipment.
Cedar Bluff Reservoir draws boaters from across Ness County, and it is not uncommon for abandoned vessels to be reported along its western access areas after ownership changes or estate situations. Storage lots near the reservoir and along county roads also accumulate unwanted pontoons and fishing boats. AAA Rousse handles full removal and eco conscious disposal regardless of the vessel's condition or how long it has been sitting.
