Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat

Removing an unwanted boat in Beaverton, near the Gladwin County Fairgrounds area, takes a professional crew to do it right. Old boats frequently have rotten wood, rusted parts, or brittle fiberglass. Professional crews know how to dismantle and dispose of them correctly without injury or contamination. Local restrictions, towing logistics, and disposal regulations can slow down boat removal.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

Parting with an old boat in Beaverton along the Cedar River isn't always a simple task. EPA guidelines for fuel, oil, and hazardous waste must be followed. Our work also includes removing masts, stripping out electronics, and, if necessary, reducing the flybridge. Most larger vessels cannot be accepted at landfills unless they are crushed or demolished. Let our AAA Rousse experts handle the entire process.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Boat removal around Beaverton often starts at Secord Dam Pond, where aging pontoons and neglected fishing boats are left tied to private docks after seasons of disuse. Owners pulling vessels out of the Tobacco River watershed frequently discover hull damage too severe to justify repair, making professional removal the only practical path forward. Calls also come in from the Gladwin State Forest area, where stored boats have sat untouched for years.

Storm events on Wiggins Lake and the surrounding chain bring in a surge of requests for partially submerged or wind damaged hull recoveries. Residents near the Muskegon River headwaters region also contact us after discovering abandoned vessels on their property following spring flooding. In each case, our crew handles the full scope of removal, from water extraction to compliant disposal, so the property owner faces no further liability.

Prompt, came out same day within a few hours of calling them. They were very careful while moving the junk. Friendly. Takes all forms of payment. I plan on calling them again. Mark and Christina came the next trip to remove more junk. They were very professional, quick, worked hard, and even swept the mess left from the junk on the garage floor.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!

The team did a wonderful job clearing out 2 of our office suites. Both suites contained about 40+ cubicles, 11 executives offices, at 3 conference rooms. It took about a week to get everything out of there but they were fair and always updated me throughout the day. They also sent pictures to make sure I knew they were filling the trailer up (they charge by the load).
