Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
You might think it's easy, but removing a boat near the Firesteel River in Bohemia can be tricky. Limited disposal sites are always a problem. Our crew dismantles the mast, removes all equipment and electronics from the vessel, and, if necessary, detaches the fly bridge. Because landfills don’t accept most large vessels in one piece, some prep work is required. We manage the entire process for you, so your boat is ready for disposal without any hassle. Boat removal made simple.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Bohemia area boaters frequently need removal service for aged vessels left at the Union Spring boat launch or stored on properties near Matchwood after years of minimal use. Seasonal ice damage and long winters accelerate hull deterioration, and many boats hauled from inside Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park corridors have sat neglected for a decade or more before owners finally call for help.
Waterlogged hulls recovered from Victoria Reservoir and derelict fishing boats left along Ontonagon Harbor docks represent some of the most common calls our crews receive. Vessels abandoned near the Lake of the Clouds access roads often require specialized rigging and overland transport, making professional removal the only practical solution for property owners managing remote waterfront land in this region.
