Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Boat removal services in Buckingham must be carried out by professionals to be done right. Boats with seized engines are heavy and difficult to transport along Kankakee River access points. Professionals use winches, cranes, and tow rigs to remove them safely. Strict local ordinances, difficult towing arrangements, and disposal laws can slow removal efforts.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Buckingham boat owners are discovering that boat removal and disposal takes more time and effort than they realized. Shallow waters or sandbars in the Iroquois River near Buckingham can make boat transport very difficult. AAA Rousse’s crew handles all the dismantling: removing masts, stripping electronics and gear, and cutting the flybridge if required. Because landfills generally do not take large vessels as-is, extra steps like crushing or dismantling are required. We manage this process from start to finish, ensuring your boat is prepared and accepted without hassle. Stress-free boat removal? Leave it to us.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal along the Kankakee River and its surrounding backwaters is one of the most common calls we receive in this area. Vessels left at the Kankakee River State Park boat launch or abandoned in low lying fields after seasonal flooding often require winching and specialized rigging. Owners in Buckingham frequently discover their old pontoons or runabouts are no longer worth repairing after sitting through harsh winters.
The Iroquois River corridor presents its own challenges, with shallow channels and muddy banks making standard tow rigs impractical during dry months. Storm damaged hulls near the Momence riverfront and waterlogged vessels left on rural properties in Kankakee County round out the typical removal requests we handle. In each case our crew arrives with the right equipment to clear the site cleanly and legally.
