Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Cannon Beach residents often discover that old boat disposal is anything but simple. Fiberglass disposal is challenging and limited in facilities near Cannon Beach RV Resort. Our crews dismantle masts, clear the boat of gear and electronics, and remove the flybridge if required. Most large boats need to be crushed or dismantled before a landfill will accept them. We’ve got it covered - let AAA Rousse take care of everything for you.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal near the Nehalem Bay State Park boat ramp and the lower Necanicum River is common as aging hulls get beached or sunk in shifting tides. Owners pulling vessels from Necanicum Estuary access points often find their trailers or titles have lapsed, making professional removal and liability release the practical first step before any disposal can proceed.
Further north along the coastline, vessels stored at informal lots near Sunset Beach and left at the Cullaby Lake County Park ramp area are frequently reported as abandoned after ownership changes or estate situations. Our crews manage the full haul from these sites, handling dismantling, fiberglass disposal, and documentation so that Cannon Beach owners avoid fines and environmental violations.
