Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat

Boat removal services in Caribou near Salmon Brook must be carried out by professionals to be done right. Boats with seized engines are heavy and difficult to transport. Professionals use winches, cranes, and tow rigs to remove them safely. Strict local ordinances, difficult towing arrangements, and disposal laws can slow removal efforts.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

Caribou boat owners are discovering that boat removal and disposal takes more time and effort than they realized. Shallow waters or sandbars in Caribou can make boat transport very difficult. AAA Rousse’s crew handles all the dismantling: removing masts, stripping electronics and gear, and cutting the flybridge if required. Because landfills generally do not take large vessels as-is, extra steps like crushing or dismantling are required. We manage this process from start to finish, ensuring your boat is prepared and accepted without hassle. Stress-free boat removal? Leave it to us.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Boat removal in Caribou most commonly starts with vessels that have sat through harsh Aroostook winters on trailers or at the boat launch off Grimes Mill Road, where freeze thaw cycles crack hulls and seize motors beyond repair. Owners pulling boats from Trafton Lake or the Madawaska River often discover the hull has deteriorated past the point of safe relaunching, making professional removal the only practical option.

A second common scenario involves pontoons and runabouts stored for years at the Caribou Industrial Park area or on rural acreage off Route 161, where overgrown lots make extraction difficult without proper winching equipment. Families settling estates near Nickerson Lake frequently call us to clear an inherited vessel that has not moved in over a decade, and our crew handles the permits and transport from start to finish.

Prompt, came out same day within a few hours of calling them. They were very careful while moving the junk. Friendly. Takes all forms of payment. I plan on calling them again. Mark and Christina came the next trip to remove more junk. They were very professional, quick, worked hard, and even swept the mess left from the junk on the garage floor.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!

The team did a wonderful job clearing out 2 of our office suites. Both suites contained about 40+ cubicles, 11 executives offices, at 3 conference rooms. It took about a week to get everything out of there but they were fair and always updated me throughout the day. They also sent pictures to make sure I knew they were filling the trailer up (they charge by the load).
