Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
In Clarks Summit, the process of boat removal can turn out to be unexpectedly difficult. Many marinas or property owners want old boats removed quickly, but the process often takes longer than expected due to weather, time sensitivity, towing restrictions, and more — especially for boats near Elmhurst Reservoir. Our crews remove masts, strip the boat of its gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if necessary. Larger vessels can’t go to a landfill unless we crush or demolish them. Let the AAA Rousse do all the work for you.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal around Lake Scranton is one of the most common calls we receive in this area. Owners who stored vessels along Roaring Brook or trailered them near the Anthracite Heritage Trail often find hulls deteriorated beyond easy recovery. Silt buildup, broken trailers, and neglected docks all create urgent removal situations that require specialized equipment and trained crews.
Further out, decommissioned pontoons and aging motorboats surface regularly at Elk Lake and Lily Lake, where seasonal use leaves many vessels abandoned at the end of summer. Properties throughout Abington Hills also generate removal requests when estate sales or foreclosures leave unwanted boats in driveways and yards. Each scenario calls for a different approach, and our team handles every one.
