Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat

Removing an unwanted boat in Clemson University takes a professional crew familiar with routes like Issaqueena Trail to do it right. Old boats frequently have rotten wood, rusted parts, or brittle fiberglass. Professional crews know how to dismantle and dispose of them correctly without injury or contamination. Local restrictions, towing logistics, and disposal regulations can slow down boat removal.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

Parting with an old boat in Clemson University near Lake Hartwell Boat Ramp isn't always a simple task. EPA guidelines for fuel, oil, and hazardous waste must be followed. Our work also includes removing masts, stripping out electronics, and, if necessary, reducing the flybridge. Most larger vessels cannot be accepted at landfills unless they are crushed or demolished. Let our AAA Rousse experts handle the entire process.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Storm damage and long term neglect leave many boats stranded along Lake Keowee and the Lake Hartwell shoreline near Oconee Point. Owners often discover their vessel has sunk partially into the sediment or become entangled in dock structures, making a simple trailer pickup impossible and requiring a professional marine salvage crew to extract and haul the wreck safely.

Estate sales and property transfers around the Seneca River corridor and near Twin Lakes frequently surface old hulls stored on trailers for years with expired titles and failing fiberglass. Our crew handles the paperwork, strips hazardous fluids in compliance with EPA rules, and transports the vessel to a certified recycler, giving new property owners a clean slate without legal exposure.

I was cleaning out a family member’s house that bordered on being a hoarder. I called AAA Rousse and they were able to promptly meet my junk hauling needs on two separate occasions. The men providing the service were friendly and professional. They definitely made the process easy.

The family owned company was wonderful! They came in and undertook a very difficult project without complaining and they did it at the price that they quoted to us originally. They were friendly patient hard-working and did a great job! We would not hesitate to call them again and we would recommend them to anyone we know.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!
