Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Old boat disposal in Colerain often proves frustrating. There is usually limited access to docks or Sunfish Creek marinas for removal equipment. Our AAA Rousse marine team handles mast removal, gear and electronics stripping, and flybridge cutting when required. Most landfills won’t accept larger vessels in one piece, which means they need to be crushed or demolished first. Our crews handle the entire process safely and efficiently, so you don’t have to worry about the details. Sit back, AAA Rousse has it covered.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boats left sitting along the Shade River or beached near Captina Island often deteriorate quickly due to seasonal flooding and shifting water levels. Owners frequently contact us after a vessel becomes partially submerged or stranded on a muddy bank. At Forked Run State Park, trailered hulls abandoned at the launch ramp create hazards that require prompt, professional removal.
Upstream of the Belleville Lock and Dam, current and debris accelerate hull decay, leaving owners with boats that are no longer towable and must be dismantled on site. In low lying areas like Long Bottom, rising water can pin a vessel against a tree line or structure, complicating access. Near Raven Rock, steep terrain means our crew relies on specialized rigging to extract boats safely without damage to the surrounding bank.
