Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Boat removal services in Custar must be carried out by professionals to be done right. Boats with seized engines are heavy and difficult to transport. Professionals use winches, cranes, and tow rigs to remove them safely. Strict local ordinances, difficult towing arrangements via Van Camp Road, and disposal laws can slow removal efforts.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Custar boat owners are discovering that boat removal and disposal takes more time and effort than they realized. Shallow waters or sandbars in Custar can make boat transport very difficult. AAA Rousse’s crew handles all the dismantling: removing masts, stripping electronics and gear, and cutting the flybridge if required. Because landfills generally do not take large vessels as-is, extra steps like crushing or dismantling are required. We manage this process from start to finish, ensuring your boat is prepared and accepted without hassle. Stress-free boat removal? Leave it to us.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boats in Custar are commonly removed after seasonal use on the Auglaize River, where shifting water levels can strand vessels on sandbars or low banks. Owners near the Grand Rapids Millrace area often need assistance after recreational outings when trailers become stuck in soft ground. Wood County residents rely on licensed removal teams to recover boats safely without damaging riverbanks or surrounding property.
Further downstream, stranded vessels near Providence Dam require careful extraction due to current hazards and restricted access points. Smaller craft that drift into Buttonwood Creek during high water events present another frequent removal challenge in Wood County. In each case, prompt coordination with local authorities ensures the waterway stays clear and removal crews can work efficiently within all applicable regulations.
