Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Proper boat removal in Del Dios can only be done safely with the right marine team and equipment, especially along narrow stretches of Del Dios Highway. Inherited boats often come without titles or paperwork. Our boat removers understand how to legally and properly dispose of vessels in these situations. The combination of towing, disposal, and local regulatory issues can cause delays.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Disposing of an aging boat in Del Dios often becomes challenging near the Lake Hodges Boat Launch. Lead paint and other toxic materials require special handling. Our crew dismantles the mast, removes all equipment and electronics from the vessel, and, if necessary, detaches the fly bridge. Landfills generally can’t take larger vessels unless they’re first crushed or demolished. Sit back and let the AAA Rousse team handle it all.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Del Dios sits along the Lake Hodges shoreline, and owners here most often call us when a boat has been moored too long and grown unmanageable. Vessels tied to private docks on Lake Hodges, trailered rigs left along Del Dios Highway, and neglected hulls stored near Lake Wohlford all rank among the most common removal requests we receive in this community.
Seasonal drawdowns at the Lake Hodges Boat Launch frequently strand partially sunken boats that owners no longer want to reclaim. We also field steady calls from families settling estates near Hernandez Hideaway, where inherited vessels have sat for years without titles. Dixon Lake produces similar requests when aging aluminum fishing boats are abandoned at the ramp and the county asks owners to arrange removal.
