Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

The process of getting rid of a junk boat in Douds near Chequest Creek is often more challenging than it first appears. Boats partially sunk are extremely difficult to lift, float, and tow. Our work also includes removing masts, stripping out electronics, and, if necessary, reducing the flybridge. Larger vessels often require demolition or crushing before they can be disposed of at a landfill. We take care of this step for you, making the entire removal and disposal process smooth and stress-free. AAA Rousse - we do it all, so you don’t have to.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Douds sits along the Des Moines River, and many removal calls here involve waterlogged or abandoned fishing boats left at the Lacey-Keosauqua State Park access or along Chequest Creek. Seasonal flooding can pin a hull against a bank or partially sink a vessel overnight, making a straightforward pickup far more complicated and requiring specialized lifting equipment.

Other common situations involve neglected jon boats and aged pontoons stored on rural properties near Fox River or pulled from Big Cedar Creek after storm damage. Owners often discover that trailers have rotted beyond use, so the Van Buren County Conservation boat ramp becomes a staging point for our crew to safely load and haul the vessel out of the area.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We used AAA Rousse Junk Removal to help clean out items from our fathers place after he passed away. We were on a limited schedule (we live out of state) and the staff was more than accommodating. After the initial pickup was completed we decided we had more to get rid of and they were able to come the same day. Great service and fair pricing. Great to work with!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The best company I've ever used when dealing with our building clean up. We are in the process of selling and the buyers are extremely unreasonable but after hearing about AAA and dealing with Jennine and her assurance that our property would be professionally cleaned and all cleared (equipment, debris, trash etc..) not only did she deliver on that promise but knocked it out of the ballpark!! Thank you so much AAA and Jennine, we could have NEVER done it without you.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. AAA Roussee is the BEST company ever!!! I hired them to help my friend who had a major problem with bed bugs in Miami. We had the place exterminated, but bed bugs are almost impossible to get rid of totally unless all fabric furniture and rugs, etc. are disposed of. My friend is VERY stubborn and would not agree to let them take the expensive rug and other furniture, he just wasn't grasping the importance of that. The pickup guy, Corey, was able to convince him to let go of ALL necessary items, Corey has such a wonderful way about him, I called him "The Bug Whisperer"... my friend fully cooperated, got rid of everything, we will have one last followup extermination check and now there is hope to totally resolve this HORRIBLE problem. This company is the BEST!!!!! Also, Robert, who I set everything up with, is such a great guy... he took a personal interest on the phone and made us understand the severity of the problem and what needed to be done, he went WAY ABOVE and BEYOND the call of duty!!!! If he had not bothered to listen and discuss and truly advise and help this never would have been resolved. Thank you Robert and Corey!!!!!! Do not bother with any other company!!! These people are caring and honest and get the job done thoroughly and quickly.
