Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Dumas residents near the Desha County Boat Launch are discovering that an old, dilapidated boat past its prime isn't easy to get off their hands. The large size and heavy weight of many boats are definitely a challenge while transporting. Our crews remove masts, strip the boat of its gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if necessary. Because landfills don’t accept most large vessels in one piece, we manage the crushing or demolition so you don’t have to worry about it. We handle it all - you just relax.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removals in Dumas most often begin when owners trailer vessels off the water after fishing trips on Boeuf River, which draws anglers through the flat Delta lowlands surrounding town. Vessels stored on private lots along Highway 65 sometimes need crane assisted loading after sitting idle for seasons, and our crew handles those pickups with flatbed transport regardless of the boat's condition or size.
Owners keeping boats near the Desha County farming corridors along Bayou Bartholomew occasionally need full removal service when a craft becomes waterlogged or storm damaged beyond practical repair. Flatbed transport and on site draining let our team complete pickups efficiently along rural routes, and we coordinate with owners to clear vessels quickly so they can reclaim storage space on their property.
