Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat

Getting rid of an unwanted boat in Flat is a process that needs to be done by a professional crew. Storm-damaged boats are often unstable, partially submerged, or leaking fuel along Coryell Creek. Only trained professionals with the right equipment can safely haul and dispose of them without causing more property or environmental damage. Local laws, transport logistics, and disposal steps often add time to the job.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

Disposing of an old boat in Flat isn’t as simple as it sounds. Permits may be required for towing or dismantling certain boats along Rummel Road. AAA Rousse’s crew handles all the dismantling: removing masts, stripping electronics and gear, and cutting the flybridge if required. Large boats often need to be destroyed before a landfill will take them. The AAA Rousse team will take care of everything for you.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Boat removal calls in this area often come from property owners along the Leon River dealing with flood stranded or storm damaged hulls left on riverbanks or partially submerged near low water crossings. Vessels also get abandoned at Belton Lake recreational areas and along Corps of Engineers shorelines, requiring permitted extraction and full documentation before disposal can proceed.

Storage related removals are another common scenario, particularly from ranches and rural tracts near Copperas Cove Road where aging boats sit on trailers for years. Owners clearing land around the Owl Creek watershed or near FM 116 frequently discover junked pontoon boats and rotted motorboats that need professional dismantling, hazardous fluid removal, and eco conscious disposal rather than roadside abandonment.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We used AAA Rousse Junk Removal to help clean out items from our fathers place after he passed away. We were on a limited schedule (we live out of state) and the staff was more than accommodating. After the initial pickup was completed we decided we had more to get rid of and they were able to come the same day. Great service and fair pricing. Great to work with!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The best company I've ever used when dealing with our building clean up. We are in the process of selling and the buyers are extremely unreasonable but after hearing about AAA and dealing with Jennine and her assurance that our property would be professionally cleaned and all cleared (equipment, debris, trash etc..) not only did she deliver on that promise but knocked it out of the ballpark!! Thank you so much AAA and Jennine, we could have NEVER done it without you.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. AAA Roussee is the BEST company ever!!! I hired them to help my friend who had a major problem with bed bugs in Miami. We had the place exterminated, but bed bugs are almost impossible to get rid of totally unless all fabric furniture and rugs, etc. are disposed of. My friend is VERY stubborn and would not agree to let them take the expensive rug and other furniture, he just wasn't grasping the importance of that. The pickup guy, Corey, was able to convince him to let go of ALL necessary items, Corey has such a wonderful way about him, I called him "The Bug Whisperer"... my friend fully cooperated, got rid of everything, we will have one last followup extermination check and now there is hope to totally resolve this HORRIBLE problem. This company is the BEST!!!!! Also, Robert, who I set everything up with, is such a great guy... he took a personal interest on the phone and made us understand the severity of the problem and what needed to be done, he went WAY ABOVE and BEYOND the call of duty!!!! If he had not bothered to listen and discuss and truly advise and help this never would have been resolved. Thank you Robert and Corey!!!!!! Do not bother with any other company!!! These people are caring and honest and get the job done thoroughly and quickly.
