Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
An old, junk boat in Florala near the Florala State Park boat launch often becomes a stubborn problem to solve. Barnacles and marine growth add weight, making the boat removal process more difficult. Our Teams take off the masts, clear out the boat’s gear and electronics and cut off the flybridge if needed. Most larger vessels are not accepted at landfills unless we crush or demolish them. Let us take care of it.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
In Florala, many boat removals begin at the state park area along Country Club Road, where owners store trailered vessels between seasons or after a motor gives out on the water. Crews frequently haul boats from residential lots near Merritt Street, loading waterlogged or storm damaged craft onto flatbeds for transport to repair facilities or salvage yards elsewhere in the region.
Covington County Lake, the small impoundment just south of town, sees occasional abandoned jon boats and pontoons that need professional extraction after owners lose interest or relocate. When watercraft sit too long beside local fishing camps along the lake shoreline, our team coordinates safe removal, ensuring trailers and hulls are properly secured before making the trip out on Covington County roads.
