Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Unwanted boats in Florence tend to be more complicated to remove than expected. Specialized cranes or barges may be required. Our team takes down the mast, removes the boat’s equipment and electronics, and cuts off the flybridge if needed. Since most landfills can’t take larger boats as they are, they need to be crushed or dismantled first. Don’t worry - our team takes care of that for you, making the whole process simple and stress-free. Relax - we’ve got it handled.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal in Florence most often begins at private properties along the St. Joseph River, where vessels have been moored or beached for years and deteriorated beyond use. Owners also call us after storms push hulls onto shorelines near Moccasin Lake and Lake Lavine, making it impossible to move the wreckage without specialized equipment and an experienced crew.
Storage yard abandonments are another common scenario, particularly around the Sturgis Municipal Airport Road corridor where trailers and hulls sit unclaimed for seasons. We also handle sunken and waterlogged removals from Gravel Lake and Sand Lake, where seasonal drawdowns expose vessels that have settled into the lakebed, requiring careful extraction to avoid further environmental damage.
