Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat

Removing an unwanted boat along the Pentwater River in Free Soil takes a professional crew to do it right. Old boats frequently have rotten wood, rusted parts, or brittle fiberglass. Professional crews know how to dismantle and dispose of them correctly without injury or contamination. Local restrictions, towing logistics, and disposal regulations can slow down boat removal.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

Parting with an old boat near the Big Sable River in Free Soil isn't always a simple task. EPA guidelines for fuel, oil, and hazardous waste must be followed. Our work also includes removing masts, stripping out electronics, and, if necessary, reducing the flybridge. Most larger vessels cannot be accepted at landfills unless they are crushed or demolished. Let our AAA Rousse experts handle the entire process.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Boat removal near Free Soil often involves vessels left along the banks of the Little Manistee River or stored at private lots off Bass Lake Road. Owners sometimes discover their boats have deteriorated beyond use after harsh winters, and our crews are called in to haul waterlogged hulls and storm wrecked pontoons from these inland waterways and adjacent storage areas.

Removals also come from launches along Upper Hamlin Lake and properties bordering the Nordhouse Dunes Wilderness area, where access can be challenging. Partially submerged boats, abandoned sailboats, and neglected motorboats are common calls we respond to, requiring careful rigging and compliant disposal to meet both state environmental standards and local regulations.

Prompt, came out same day within a few hours of calling them. They were very careful while moving the junk. Friendly. Takes all forms of payment. I plan on calling them again. Mark and Christina came the next trip to remove more junk. They were very professional, quick, worked hard, and even swept the mess left from the junk on the garage floor.

This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!

The team did a wonderful job clearing out 2 of our office suites. Both suites contained about 40+ cubicles, 11 executives offices, at 3 conference rooms. It took about a week to get everything out of there but they were fair and always updated me throughout the day. They also sent pictures to make sure I knew they were filling the trailer up (they charge by the load).
