Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat
Taking care of unwanted boats in Haines demands experience, equipment, and a trusted boat removal team. Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Haines residents are discovering that an old, dilapidated boat past its prime isn’t easy to get off their hands. The large size and heavy weight of many boats are definitely a challenge while transporting. Our crews remove masts, strip the boat of its gear and electronics, and cut off the flybridge if necessary. Because landfills don’t accept most large vessels in one piece, we manage the crushing or demolition so you don’t have to worry about it. We handle it all - you just relax.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat owners around the Kaskaskia River frequently need removal help after flooding leaves vessels stranded on muddy banks or partially submerged near crossing points. Lake Centralia and Raccoon Lake also generate steady calls when aging pontoons and motorboats are abandoned at the water's edge after seasons of neglect, requiring full haul out and disposal.
Silver Lake and the Patoka River corridor see similar situations where deteriorating hulls sit on trailers in yards for years before owners finally seek a licensed removal crew. The Lake Centralia boat launch area is a common staging point where Haines crews coordinate pickups, ensuring vessels are legally documented and transported without spills or code violations.
