Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boat removal in this area often starts with vessels left along the Nepaug River after flooding or long winters that leave hulls too damaged to trailer out. Owners near Burr Pond State Park frequently call us after a stored runabout or pontoon deteriorates beyond use. Seasonal ice damage and shoreline erosion along Leadmine Brook also leave small craft stranded and in need of professional extraction.
A common scenario involves trailered boats abandoned in driveways or overgrown side yards, where owners have lost titles and cannot legally sell or move them alone. Hauls along Route 44 bring added access challenges, and our crew is equipped for tight rural roads and steep grades. Properties bordering the Nepaug Reservoir occasionally present partially submerged hulls that require winching, pumping, and careful disposal coordination with state environmental contacts.
