Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat

Getting rid of an unwanted boat in Hawley is a process that needs to be done by a professional crew. Storm-damaged boats are often unstable, partially submerged, or leaking fuel along Elm Creek. Only trained professionals with the right equipment can safely haul and dispose of them without causing more property or environmental damage. Local laws, transport logistics, and disposal steps often add time to the job.

Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

Disposing of an old boat in Hawley off Avoca Road isn't as simple as it sounds. Permits may be required for towing or dismantling certain boats. AAA Rousse’s crew handles all the dismantling: removing masts, stripping electronics and gear, and cutting the flybridge if required. Large boats often need to be destroyed before a landfill will take them. The AAA Rousse team will take care of everything for you.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Boat removal around Hawley often begins at Lake Stamford, where aging motorboats and pontoons are left tied to docks or half sunken near the shoreline after years of neglect. Owners also call us from the Stamford Marina area when storm damage leaves vessels stranded. Trailers rot, hulls crack, and owners need a licensed crew to step in fast.

Further out, calls come in from properties along Paint Creek and from homeowners near the Jones County Fairgrounds area who store old boats on land and can no longer move them on their own. Sunken vessels, dry rotted hulls, and boats left behind after estate sales are among the most common jobs we handle, and our crew brings the right equipment every time.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We used AAA Rousse Junk Removal to help clean out items from our fathers place after he passed away. We were on a limited schedule (we live out of state) and the staff was more than accommodating. After the initial pickup was completed we decided we had more to get rid of and they were able to come the same day. Great service and fair pricing. Great to work with!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The best company I've ever used when dealing with our building clean up. We are in the process of selling and the buyers are extremely unreasonable but after hearing about AAA and dealing with Jennine and her assurance that our property would be professionally cleaned and all cleared (equipment, debris, trash etc..) not only did she deliver on that promise but knocked it out of the ballpark!! Thank you so much AAA and Jennine, we could have NEVER done it without you.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. AAA Roussee is the BEST company ever!!! I hired them to help my friend who had a major problem with bed bugs in Miami. We had the place exterminated, but bed bugs are almost impossible to get rid of totally unless all fabric furniture and rugs, etc. are disposed of. My friend is VERY stubborn and would not agree to let them take the expensive rug and other furniture, he just wasn't grasping the importance of that. The pickup guy, Corey, was able to convince him to let go of ALL necessary items, Corey has such a wonderful way about him, I called him "The Bug Whisperer"... my friend fully cooperated, got rid of everything, we will have one last followup extermination check and now there is hope to totally resolve this HORRIBLE problem. This company is the BEST!!!!! Also, Robert, who I set everything up with, is such a great guy... he took a personal interest on the phone and made us understand the severity of the problem and what needed to be done, he went WAY ABOVE and BEYOND the call of duty!!!! If he had not bothered to listen and discuss and truly advise and help this never would have been resolved. Thank you Robert and Corey!!!!!! Do not bother with any other company!!! These people are caring and honest and get the job done thoroughly and quickly.
