Facing Issues with an Old, Deteriorated, or Abandoned Boat

Boat removal in Houston Acres near Hikes Point demands specialized training, equipment, and the professionalism of an expert crew. Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal

Removing a worn-out boat in Houston Acres is rarely quick or simple. Rotting hulls fall apart during the removal process at the dock. Our crews dismantle masts, clear the boat of gear and electronics, and remove the flybridge if required. Since most landfills can’t take larger boats as they are, they need to be crushed or dismantled first. Our team takes care of this for you safely and responsibly, so the process is simple, stress-free and environmentally sound. No stress, just AAA Rousse.

Common Boat Removal Scenarios

Boat owners in this area frequently need removal help after vessels become waterlogged or stranded along the Ohio River waterfront or left sitting at Riverside Marina. Aging pontoons and motorboats abandoned after flood seasons are a common call for our crew, who haul them from water access points and private lots throughout Houston Acres and the surrounding Jefferson County corridors.

Many removal jobs come from storage facilities near Oxmoor Center and private properties backing up to Floyds Fork, where boats sit unused for years and deteriorate beyond repair. Owners dealing with estate cleanouts or lapsed storage leases call us to safely dismantle and dispose of hulls that have become hazardous, making professional extraction the only practical option.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was cleaning out a family member’s house that bordered on being a hoarder. I called AAA Rousse and they were able to promptly meet my junk hauling needs on two separate occasions. The men providing the service were friendly and professional. They came in and undertook a very difficult project without complaining and they did it at the price that they quoted to us originally. They were friendly patient hard-working and did a great job! We would not hesitate to call them again and we would recommend them to anyone we know.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This company is excellent! Removing this old 18 ft motor home was not an easy task. It had been sitting in the same spot for 26 years so needless to say it was literally falling apart and imbedded in the ground. The 2 men who removed it were so patient and professional taking care not to tear up the yard while doing so, not to mention it was one of our hottest days. They deserve 10 stars or more in my book!
