Safe and Responsible Boat Disposal
Unwanted boats in Jansen near Trinidad Lake State Park tend to be more complicated to remove than expected. Specialized cranes or barges may be required. Our team takes down the mast, removes the boat’s equipment and electronics, and cuts off the flybridge if needed. Since most landfills can’t take larger boats as they are, they need to be crushed or dismantled first. Don’t worry - our team takes care of that for you, making the whole process simple and stress-free. Relax - we’ve got it handled.
Common Boat Removal Scenarios
Boats left at the Trinidad Lake State Park ramp or tied along the Purgatoire River often fall into disrepair, leaving owners scrambling for a legal removal solution. Seasonal flooding and silting strand vessels against the banks, and hulls at Monument Lake sit forgotten after failed fishing seasons, creating urgent salvage calls across the area.
Trailers that break down on Longs Canyon Road strand boats far from any yard, turning a routine haul into a multi crew recovery. Vessels left near the Cucharas River after storm season accumulate damage quickly, and owners of deteriorating boats on Trinidad Lake routinely call for full dismantling and eco conscious disposal before county compliance deadlines arrive.
